The NEO 520 Roma is an 18-metre performance crossover from Neo Yachts & Composites of Bari, southern Italy, drawn by Ceccarelli Yacht Design. Carrying Neo's distinctive look, she shows muscle with elegance — offered on a shared platform in three versions: fast cruiser, cruiser-racer or full racer, each delivering high average speeds on crossings and deliveries.
Every line serves a technical purpose. A reverse bow gives a longer waterline and less weight forward, while the low freeboard lowers the centre of gravity and raises righting moment. Built entirely in carbon-fibre epoxy infusion, she displaces just 9,150 kg. Her deep keel combines a Weldox steel structure, carbon-fibre moulded shells and a 3,830 kg CNC-machined bulb — half the total displacement — and is offered fixed (3.5 / 3.6 m), hydraulic lifting or electric telescopic (down to 2.1 m). Twin carbon wheels on Dyneema cables give a true dinghy feeling, with a single deep rudder or twin rudders, beneath a Pauger Composites high-modulus carbon mast and boom.
Below, composite interiors are part of the structure, cutting weight and maintenance while maximising space. Three layouts are offered: the symmetrical sport-oriented Layout A, the classic fast-cruiser Layout B with an en-suite owner cabin, and the crossover Layout C with a true owner cabin — all with three cabins, a chain locker and a forward sail locker usable as a crew cabin. The 5-metre transom houses a tender garage closed by a wide beach platform for easy swimming.
