Hsing Hang Marine, a Taiwanese builder with a history reaching back to 1967, has announced a new model: the EX400 Flybridge, the first of the EX-Yachts series — designed and engineered by Molrev.
An Arrow Pointed Forward
The design language starts with one idea: the arrow-shaped silhouette represents adventure, with the edge of the bulwark sweeping forward to the bow. Each line and each feature harmoniously balances form and function — a 40-footer drawn to look like she is moving even at rest.
Life on the Upper Deck
The flybridge adds a second social deck above the saloon: an open-air helm and flexible U- or L-shaped seating for lounging and dining with a panoramic view. Below, a 3.5m x 1.2m submersible bathing platform brings the water within reach, and retractable awnings extend time on deck through the heat of the day.
Easy to Run, Easy to Own
Power comes from Volvo Penta D6-300 or D6-380 inboards on V-drives with joystick control, integrated autopilot and a Dynamic Positioning System that works as a virtual anchor. Electric steering keeps maintenance simple and running costs down. At 12.77 metres with a 4.02-metre beam and four to six berths, the EX400 is sized for real cruising with a manageable footprint.
