The NEO 430 Roma is a 13-metre full-carbon performance yacht from Neo Yachts & Composites of Bari, southern Italy, drawn by Ceccarelli Yacht Design. She strikes a fine balance between all-round performance and comfortable interiors: generous space and a light displacement, with an optional lifting keel, and a well-judged layout that lets a yacht of this size be sailed short-handed. Her light full-carbon build brings the centre of gravity down close to the keel. The sportive interior, integrated into the structure, is lighter and stiffer while keeping a refined finish — and with only minor adjustments she becomes an outperforming IRC/ORC racer.
She is built in a direct female mould with prepreg and infusion technology, multiaxial and unidirectional carbon fibres and epoxy resin cured at 70 °C, displacing just 5,700 kg with a 2,500 kg Weldox fin and lead bulb, all CNC machined. Both keel options draw 3.0 m: choose a single rudder with a fixed keel, or twin rudders with a lifting keel that retracts to 1.6 m — without hydraulics — for easy mooring and shallow anchorages. A low-profile cabin with flush, continuous windows, a reverse bow that keeps her dry and a concave sheerline give her a modern, powerful look.
On deck, the layout is designed by people who know what racing means: a wide cockpit, comfortable while cruising and ergonomic while racing, with all manoeuvres on deck and watertight bulkheads for a true offshore attitude. Below, structural composite interiors give more space than a bigger boat in four versions — Loft, Supercruise, Model S and V Bed.
