Made of speed and style — the Sunreef Ultima 55 ECO is a dynamic luxury catamaran with amazing amounts of living space, offering a yachting experience full of speed and comfort. Her standout features include a sporty hull design, a vast semi-open saloon and a spacious aft deck with fold-out bulwark platforms that expand the beam from 5.6 m to a remarkable 7.6 m when deployed, while a shallow 0.9 m draft opens up beach landings and anchorages larger yachts cannot reach.
As the ECO version of the ULTIMA 55, she carries a hybrid propulsion package: twin 350 kW electric engines paired with 2 × 600 HP, fed by a 220 kWh propulsion-and-house battery bank (615 V) and ultralight, flexible solar panels — minimising energy consumption without giving up speed, stability or luxury. Non-toxic bottom paint underlines her sustainable credentials, and tankage runs 1,500 L fuel, 330 L fresh water and a 148 L black-water tank.
The walkaround deck, semi-open dining area and vast alfresco lounging spaces flow together on one social level, with safe custom sea-stairs and smart storage for water toys, diving and fishing gear. Inside, the entire port hull is devoted to a private owner's suite with en-suite bathroom, while the starboard hull hosts the guest and crew accommodation — all finished to Sunreef's bespoke standard. The Ultima 55 has already been recognised with the 2025 BLT Built Design Award for Best Construction Product Design and the World Yacht Trophy for Best Catamaran Exterior Design. Currently lying at the Sunreef Yachts Shipyard, ready for inspection.
